Balancing a full-time design career with late-night order fulfillment and a weekend stall at Spitalfields Market, Yvonne’s story is a testament to the dedication required to grow a side hustle.
When the opportunity to scale finally arrived, her philosophy was simple: "close my eyes and jump."
Today, Yvonne leads a thriving London design studio, continuing to hand-illustrate every piece while raising her family.
"I’m also a mother of two boys, and I hope they grow up seeing the value of perseverance, hard work, and believing in your own ideas. Building a business from nothing hasn’t been easy, and I’m passionate about encouraging other women to take that same leap, however daunting it feels."

About Erin Kennedy, OBE
Erin Kennedy is one of Great Britain’s most decorated coxswains and a two-time Paralympic Champion. In May 2022, at the peak of her career, she was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer at just 29 years old. Astoundingly, she continued to compete for Team GB, winning European Gold while undergoing chemotherapy, and returning after a double mastectomy to retain her Paralympic title in Paris 2024. Awarded an OBE for her services to Rowing and Breast Cancer Awareness, Erin is a passionate campaigner and a sought-after voice on resilience, self-leadership, and navigating unimaginable adversity.
